Edith Bosley in Boulder CO

Having moved from New Jersey where Rhodies thrive I was uncertain that I'd be able to find a plant that would work in the more alkaline soil of Colorado. Edith Bosley seems to be doing quite well in the partial shade of our 100 year old spruce tree out front. I imagine that the soil around the spruce is more acidic than our usual alkaline Colorado soil so I'm not sure how it would do in another location. It's growing quickly and quite beautifully.
