Vibrant

I bought this rose last year and planted it along with 'Bride' and 'Blue Girl'. While all 3 are thriving 'Electron' is reminiscent of my most favorite old rose called 'Perfume Delight' which I can no longer find. Electron's fragrance is exceptional taking me back to my childhood and my mom who always had the Perfume Delight rose. They are so similar in color and fragrance as to be indistinguishable.

Gorgeous, and tough as nails in zone 5

After the first winter planted in my garden, I thought Electron didn’t survive, and last spring I pulled up the dead bush, which also had a significant chunk of dead root attached to it. A few months later, to my utter astonishment, there was a new rose sprouting from that spot! It was Electron, growing quite vigorously from a live root that had stayed in the ground! That was last year, and she has been pumping out loads of blooms ever since. I fertilized with Heirloom Roses granular fertilizer last summer, and Electron has rewarded my fertilizing efforts from last year by being covered with blooms so far this year. Truly a great, and very forgiving, rose.

Unique color

Received this rose along with Deep Secret about the end of June. Electron was slower to start growing but now end of July and it is now blooming. Very dark pink color and lovely fragrance.

Exquisite!

Initially, I planted this rose in a front yard with not much sun light. It was not happy. I only saw 1 rose once. A year later, I moved it to my backyard with a lot more sunlight. It rewarded me with 3 giant blooms within just 2 weeks, and there are many more buds to come. I was fascinated with what a difference it made to give this rose much needed sun in such a short period of time. I cannot have enough of her beauty! P.S.: If you need to move your rose, be sure to take great care and research on the best ways to move it. Roses do not like to be moved. But, I made sure I watered her and fertilized her with much needed nutrients to support the stress of the move.
