My First Bloom

I am a newbie to Roses.. I got two roses to start from Heirloom and my Fun in the Sun was the first to fill out and bloom. It is gorgeous and healthy. Shipping is so fast and plants arrive safely. I love all of my orders from Heirloom. This rose is a beautiful color and shape and the plant now has multiple blooms. I wish I could attach photos!

Glorious blooms all summer

Enjoying Fun In The Sun’s hardiness, disease resistance, fragrance and consistent blooms. Last summer was record hot, with weeks of 100F and dry conditions. We of course watered our roses well. Cold winter followed with heavy snows. This spring and summer have been record wet in our area, with cooler temps. No matter the weather, Fun In The Sun produces bountiful beautiful blooms. No black spot or disease of any kind. Japanese beetles seem to avoid it. A tough performer in zone 5A, south facing beds. Planted three in a triangle for more impact.

Heat resistant but not fruity

I bought these because the fragrance was described as “fruity” and I’m looking for more sweet-smelling roses like my Easy Does It. These are too perfumey for my nose, but they’re the only roses I have that weren’t damaged at all by our Seattle heat waves this summer (~85-90 F.) The leaves still look perfect.
