  • NEARLY THORNLESS! This gorgeous Grandiflora takes first place with her golden-yellow blossoms with copper shading that gently age to cream. Gold Medal®’s large, 4” blooms feature 30-40 petals each grown in clusters. Her large, semi-glossy, dark green foliage stands proudly on nearly thornless stems. Expect Gold Medal® to be at her deepest, pure gold color in cooler temperatures, but she is quite hardy and can handle the heat of warmer climates too!

Easy and beautiful

I picked this rose based solely on its name and I have been so pleased with it this first year. It grew quickly and started blooming early in my zone 10/San Diego garden. The blooms open in a deep yellow gold and then age and fade through a lovely array of gold/yellow/cream. The rose is planted in a terracotta container and has been happy and productive there. It has been blooming almost continuously since early Spring.

Beautiful rose and easy to grow zone 8

I grew this rose many years ago with many others.
I entered the local rose show for the first time and this rose ended up on the "trophy table" as the winner. It is beautiful and easy to grow with no real problems like black spot or mildew. I plan to purchase another one today.
