NEARLY THORNLESS! This gorgeous Grandiflora takes first place with her golden-yellow blossoms with copper shading that gently age to cream. Gold Medal’s large, 4” blooms feature 30-40 petals each grown in clusters. Her large, semi-glossy, dark green foliage stands proudly on nearly thornless stems. Expect Gold Medal to be at her deepest, pure gold color in cooler temperatures, but she is quite hardy and can handle the heat of warmer climates too!

Beautiful rose and easy to grow zone 8

I grew this rose many years ago with many others.
I entered the local rose show for the first time and this rose ended up on the "trophy table" as the winner. It is beautiful and easy to grow with no real problems like black spot or mildew. I plan to purchase another one today.

Every garden needs this rose. Large perfect blooms, the color is a beautiful gold. I have not had any issues with disease and it grows very fast, one of my favorite yellow roses!
