Julio Iglesias™ is unique with his intricately striped petals and camelia-shaped blooms that can grow up to 4-5" wide. He does particularly well in warmer, west coast climates as the sun deepens the coloring of the blooms. A strong citrus and verbena fragrance floats off the snowflake-like petals, making this a great cut rose. Julio Iglesias™ displays healthy, disease resistant foliage and makes a great statement in your garden or a container.

Not for me

First I did not purchase the rose from Heirloom but from another reputable company. So the 5 star is for that reason. Because it isn’t the growlers fault. I live in North Mississippi so hot humid is what I have to consider when growing roses. This one is not good where I live. It has constant black stop even though I rotate 4 different organic fungicides & spray weekly. The black sport started in March . I ended up just pruning it down to 12” and starting over cut that did not good. The blooms are not that pretty for me. They are dark pink and white. I really don’t think this one is good to survive.

Super fragrant and unique

Let me preface by saying I would have never ever even looked at a variegated rose. It is far from traditional when we think of your traditional rose. HOWEVER, i found this gem at a local nursery while I was sniffing all of the varieties. I buy roses based on the smell more than the color - the scent blew me away immediately. It is a gorgeous scent, and the flower is more pink and white than red. There was only one at the nursery, but thankfully I found them here too!
