First time with this variety and wow how gorgeous! Only got this a month ago and already blooming. Not very fragrant yet but picture perfect.
I don't know why, after so many years of trying various types of roses, this rose finally came to my attention. I bought three, thinking of putting them in a new bed that would get good sunlight now that a tree blew down and was removed. The growth is just geometric..It gets to 5 feet in no time at all.....this is only the third year, and each very sturdy stem has 5 or 6 blooms, of great size, packed with petals, and the most beautiful pink shade. Some of the roses look like the photo attached to this website, but, most of them are a darker, and gorgeous, luscious pink. I always have resistance to cutting roses for the house....I love to see them in the yard. But, all you have to do is cut one stem...and you get 6 or seven big blooms that last for days in a vase. A few feet down from this rose bed is a mature New Dawn. It is always a sprawling mess, like an octopus, moving where it wants. Its flowers are insubstantial and because of its messy growth, there are bent stems of various lengths, It deserves to be in the back 40...but Majestic? I think I'll buy many more in this next season to raise the quality of all of my rose beds. Jaw-dropping.
Majestic is the most beautiful rose I’ve ever seen! This is it’s first full season in zone 8a and it did not disappoint.... The continual blooms are enormous and last forever.
I bought this plant a couple of months ago as part of a housewarming gift for one of my oldest friends. She's now sending me some of the most gorgeous photos of delicate pink blooms I've ever seen. She, and her young daughter are having a wonderful time tending to their new rose garden, and I couldn't be happier that such healthy, robust plants were delivered to them!
