Gorgeous and Tough!

I am SOO impressed with this rose! I live in the high desert climate of Albuquerque, NM, (zone 7) where yellow roses often fade out to white in a matter of hours. Not Shockwave! His vibrant yellow blooms hold their color amazingly well, fading extremely slowly (a week or more) to a lighter yellow blushed with palest pink. Moreover, my garden is extremely windy, and Shockwave's vibrant green foliage has shown little effect, while many of my established roses look sadly tattered. This rose is an absolute champion for harsh, high desert climates! It is also very quick to repeat, setting new growth even before the spent flowers have been deadheaded. Love this beautiful rose!
