Quick bloomer/gorgeous!

I ordered several roses and this was the first one to bloom. She’s an absolutely gorgeous, bright color. Deep dark pink. I have her in a container and she’s very happy there. I used several soil additions which apparently were good choices (blood meal, bone meal, neem cake, alfalfa, cow manure and a living soil), I used Heirloom fish emulsion to fertilize. It’s been about a month and look at her go! Very healthy leaves also and it’s stinking hot outside right now. Zone 8a

Such an impressive rose!

I planted this rose a couple years ago. At first I was disappointed with the color because it just looked like dark red to me, but now, in its second year, the color is that amazing deep, dark fuchsia you see in the photos. When the sun hits these roses they glow! And there are so many of them! This spring the bush has constantly displayed lots of big, beautiful blooms, singly and in clusters. The blooms hold up well for like a week, too. Better yet, the bush has an elegant growth pattern all on its own, growing tall and not too wide, with perfectly arranged, branching canes. It looks fantastic. Mine is prone to aphids in early spring (which I hose off with cold water), but has no other problems and is very strong and vigorous. I'm in Albuquerque, NM, a high desert climate.

really is a show stopper, glad I tried her

Bought two of these to plant under my garage window for a little security because I read they were very thorny. They are. But they also have very vigorous canes and foliage, are prolific bloomers, and withstood Missouri heat and drought with a laugh. I have severe arthritis and can't care for my roses as closely as I would like but these didn't mind.

They really are as pictured. Brilliant hot pink, rounded, huge blooms, and with a wonderful fragrance. Blooms last a long time on the bush and after cutting. They won my heart, and I plan to add more. In their second year of growth they are already a bushy 3ft tall. A little home security, and a lot of beauty. Everything I had hoped for!
