Tecolote Sunset lives up to her name with blooms in delightful shades of orange and apricot with hints of golden yellow. Tecolote Sunset is deer resistant and makes an excellent cut flower. Ranunculus do well in beds, borders, or pots.

Tecolote Sunset is sold in packs of 10.

Planting Instructions:

Plant Ranunculus in the fall for zones 8-11 for spring blooms. In zones 4-7, store the hardened corms in a cool, dark place and plant in early spring for mid-summer blooms.

  1. Soak corms in room temperature water for 3-4 hours; avoid oversoaking.

  2. Choose an area with full sun for planting.

  3. Add compost and a balanced fertilizer to your soil.

  4. Plant corms 9” apart, 2-3” deep, with tentacles facing down in the soil.
