Hate it til I love it

I have a 8 year old grafted Valencia in a large pot. At the beginning of every season the bush looks especially naked and knarly. That's when I wonder why it is still in my garden. Then... it starts to bloom and the beauty and longevity of the blooms bring tears to my eyes and makes my heart Happy.
You will never have a more elegant flower that lasts weeks on the bush or in a vase and stays beautiful the whole time. I think I will try a own root plant next year.
I'ii never let it go.
