If you are looking for a very fragrant climber that does well in a pot, say hello to Strawberry Hill®! She is a tall, vigorous, healthy, repeat-blooming climber with large, glossy leaves that thrives in beds, borders, or pots. Strawberry Hill® produces pink, cup-shaped, 4 1/2" flowers with 85+ petals that are produced in clusters. She emits a wonderfully intense myrrh fragrance, is touched with a hint of lemon fragrance, and is one of David Austin’s top recommended roses for fragrance. Be sure she faces east, west, or south for full sunlight and to be at her peak performance.

Strong and lovely

I planted strawberry hill in a climbing planter box. Within a couple of weeks it had 5 buds and the first bloomed and was so lovely. Can’t wait for it to really settle in this year.

Pretty fragrant blooms but not long lasting

I am in South Florida zone 10b. I planted this rose to a pot and placed where she can get 5 hours of direct morning sun. After one month I got the first bloom. The foliage is shinning green, the bloom is delicate and has very pretty pink color and nice fragrance. But it only lasted about 2 days then the bloom started to fade. Not sure if it was too hot (actually it is not very hot yet about 85 degree) or too much sun. I am going to move her to my back yard and see how she is doing.

Beautiful

These roses took off and bloomed, even under less than ideal conditions. The blooms are just gorgeous. Color, fragrance and form. I transplanted them after a change in landscaping and they had no problem with the move. Just getting ready to bloom again. I’m so pleased I got two

Simply Charming

I knew I would love this rose but I didn't expect this little beauty to be such a charmer! It has bloomed well despite the 100+ degree temperatures that have been a challenge for many of my new roses. I adore the soft, billowy blooms that are sure to be a favorite for many, many years to come!
