Beautiful roses. The bushes been in constant bloom since spring. I’ve noticed in the spring when it’s less hot the flowers are larger and color look like heirlooms photos. .Lately we’ve been having 93° days constantly and it fades the flowers a bit and blooms are smaller. But they are still a beautiful pink. I planted three they all are doing extremely well. They are very disease and bug resistant here in zone 7 And in just 14 months each rosebush has grown to 3 1/2 foot by 3 foot wide bush. . Plants are full with leafs and very healthy looking, which give's the roses is a beautiful backdrop. Nothing scrawny about this one.. Highly Recommend, actually ordered two more. . Oh another thing I want to mention is there is not a lot of thorns on this variety, I would say it’s very close to thornless which is an added plus.
When I received this rose, I wasn’t expecting it to bloom anytime soon because it was just some stems without many leaves. Despite being small rose stems, it bloomed within 23 days! I planted it on May 10, and by June 2, it already had a large flower! I’ve never seen a rose bloom of that size, so I was happily shocked! Its flower size is incomparable to the roses you see at Home Depot or Lowe’s. In the photo I attached, you can see how low the flower is located from the ground because it was just planted 23 days ago, so the stems haven’t grown tall yet, but it bloomed beautifully!
Also, this beautiful rose was eaten by deer, so I got deer repellent spray. The deer almost ate the whole rose, and I was so sad, but it recovered within a week or two! The second photo, which shows multiple flowers, was taken after it recovered from the deer eating it, and this photo was taken on July 7, so it recovered fast! I recommend this rose! It’s so pretty
I have had this rose for about 3 years now and it is a strong rose. It has beet June bugs, mildew, and 1 incident of deer hazing. It’s frangrance is sublime and the blooms are about as big as the palm of my hand. It was a great first rose for me! Highly recommend if you are just starting out in your garden. This picture is about 4 days after bloom and I don’t trim them until about a week after bloom
Memorial Day blooms prolifically. Out of the dozens of roses in my garden it has the biggest blooms, is the most hardy, fewest thorns, and most fragrant. It blooms from April to December each year, zone 10.
