She is saturated with an extremely strong, classic, old rose fragrance. The long stems with minimal thorns are adorned with clean green leaves on a continual blooming plant. You will only need one flower from this All-American Award winner to fill an entire room with intoxicating scent.

Truly lovely and vigorous

I had my heart set on some other roses and put Memorial Day in my cart on a whim; and I’m so glad I did! I’m in 9b northern CA and my yard has a fair amount of full sun with some dappled shade at certain times. This rose bloomed later than my others - in late May, true to the name - and since then had been a great performer. Large, multi petaled blooms with sturdy petals last more than a week with little fading; in the vase they also last several days up to 10 days! They are a ballerina pink and some have frilly petals. The fragrance is true classic rose. The plant is very vigorous and has put out several large new canes. It blooms in flushes and in several to a stem. I’ve not had issues with disease nor pests (other than leaf cutter damage). Really a lovely rose.
