Abbaye de Cluny is new to our mixed borders since late April. Such a lovely bloom shape and color. I like that the petals have a bit of thickness, it helps with tolerating the heat and wind. She has some scent, I'm hoping for more when the shrub matures. Her leaves are dark green and shiny, a vigorous shrub. We are in zone 5b, high plains with hot humid summers and cold winters. I’ll see how she does over the winter and next summer, and update.
My Abbaye De Cluny arrived timely and in great shape. It was largely defoliated for shipping, and has already put on beautiful new growth on strong canes. I’ve planted in our front yard as part of my most recent project, so the whole neighborhood will get to enjoy her.
These roses are stunning. They have been giving and giving all spring and summer. I am in the Northeasy
Hands down my my favorite - zone 10
