Avant Garde is a double early Tulip that opens in soft creamy yellow and matures to ivory with subtle yellow centers. Each bloom measures about 5″ across and sits on strong 14–16″ stems, making it a great choice for garden beds or fresh-cut arrangements. It blooms in early spring and grows well in Zones 3–8. Its full ruffled form makes it a favorite!
Avant Garde is sold in packs of 10 for fall planting.
Fall Planting Instructions:

Choose an area with partial to full sun that has good drainage.

Dig a hole 6-8” deep and mix granular fertilizer with soil at the bottom of the hole. Tulip bulbs should be planted 6” below the soil.

Place bulbs 2-3” apart with points facing upward, and then gently pack the soil over the bulb.

Water once and then not again till spring.
