- About Aztec Art
Aztec Art is a striking bearded Iris that grabs attention with sunny yellow upper petals and deep mahogany lower petals, each featuring a bold yellow sunburst and fiery orange-gold beard. It blooms in early to mid‑late spring (May) on tall, sturdy 33″ stems, offering a dramatic color show. Hardy in Zones 4–9, this iris is deer resistant and makes a powerful cut flower.
Aztec Art is sold in packs of 3 for fall planting.
Planting Instructions:

Choose an area that gets at least 6 hours of sunlight and has good drainage.

Plant with the rhizome’s top exposed at the surface of the soil and firmly pack the soil around each rhizome.

Space Iris rhizomes 12-24” apart.
