This rose was a part of my last rose garden at a former residence. She is nothing short of a bloom factory. She just never quits flowering. Once I realized what a great company Heirloom was, I promptly ordered two. If you want to win the "rose lottery" get this beautiful rose from Heirloom. She is great for cut flowers and her clear, clean, phlox pink does not fade in a vase. One reviewer stated the fragrance was not strong. Just wait, as this bush matures she gets more fragrant. Even so, if she had no scent, I would still grow at least two. No other rose can compete with her compulsion to bloom, and she is disease resistant. Overall, often when a rose has been in commerce this long, if its still on the market, its quite likely its a winning bush. Often its better to avoid the newer cultivars to be sure they will perform. Bewitched beats most of them hands down. If I could only have one rose for cut flowers, this would be it.
Is is the rose that got me into roses. It is my favorite all time rose. It consistently makes blooms that you can cut and give to your wife or mother.
Zone 9, Glendale AZ - She was always in bloom & was a beautiful, tall bush with large blooms. I am putting in a new rose garden at our new house & I can't wait to plant Bewitched here.
I am in zone 9, I planted this Bewitched several years ago and have basically ignored it. Is is tall and always blooms with big beautiful pink blossoms. And the fragrance is strong and lovely. You can't beat this rose fro beauty and fragrance.
