I purchased this rose probably 10 years ago when my rose interest was beginning. I didn’t plant it correctly and it didn’t flourish after a couple of years. So I relocated it to my farm pond and forgot about it. No care whatsoever. Not even extra water after moving it. Well, it began to do much better after a few more years. So after putting in a pool, and wanting roses around it, I figured with what Heirloom has taught me, and with the good genes this rose has, and with great care, it deserved a spot at the pool. Well let me tell you, it has went wild. Deep green glossy leaves. Deep red flowers that age to black around the edges. No aphids, no beetles, no black spot, no mites……zero issues. It’s the perfect floribunda. I now have five Kordes bred roses around the pool and they are all winners from Heirloom.
I really like these pretty little red blooms. They are long lasting both cut and on the bush. Lots of blooms this spring, and only its second year planted.
This rose is vigorous and healthy and almost constantly in bloom. It’s a very cheerful red color, and looks pretty hiding the feet of my Fourth of July rose.
very happy plants came on time in good condition has been blooming nicely
