Struggles with Black Spot

In my area (Central VA, zone 7a) this rose which I've had for a very long time really struggles with black spot, to the point it is very leggy with just a few blooms at the end of nearly leafless canes. I am an aggressive sprayer for black spot but can't win with this one.

just planted

arrived in perfect condition even though the box had some damage, the plant was fine and all the soil was in place. I planted it according to the instructions and it is doing very well, I am very pleased, it will set off my garden with its deep red blossoms and do a nice contrast to the Arborose Tangerine that I got at the same time.

Very Happy with my Blaze

I received four roses, including Blaze, the end of May, all in great condition even if a tad pitiful, bare naked and all. The Blaze has been blooming for about a month, and has climbed about 4 feet up its trellis. Stunning color! I’m very happy with all four plants.

Ok plant

The plant was shipped in a very sturdy box.
BUT, only on the top end did it state "Top". Did not on any other place state "Live Plant" or any arrows on the sides to indicate which was up.
As a result the box got tumbled around & the soil in the container was thrown out.
Plant arrived with roots exposed. Don't know how long it was.
I've ordered from 2 other Rose companies & both of thier boxes had arrows and stating live plants.
In total this was the 6th rose bush I have ordered with only the Heirloom Rose having this problem.
Let shipper know what they are handling, seems to get good results.
As far as the rose, I've only had it 5 weeks. It has survived it's shipping, has bloomed with 2 very deep red blooms but only on 2 separate branches not showing signs of being a Floribunda type rose as stated in description.
It is definitely a climbing Rose.
It is a cute small bush.
Only time will tell.

Over the moon!

Purchased these delightful roses 4 weeks ago! Followed the planting instructions carefully. Amended the soil as directed. And, Voilà!!! They took off like crazy! I’m astounded and very happy! I can’t wait until next year!️
