Camellia Sinensis, known as the Small Leaf Tea plant, is a slow-growing evergreen Camellia reaching 6-15 feet tall and 4-8 feet wide. It features glossy, dark green leaves and small, fragrant white flowers that bloom in fall and winter. Thriving in full sun to partial shade and well-drained soils, this plant is hardy in zones 6-9. As a bonus, its young leaves are traditionally harvested to produce white, green, oolong, and black teas.
