Bloomed the very first year. This is the second year and let me tell you…I have it on an arch and it’s BEAUTIFUL. It’s climbing and blooming. I’ve had to gently tie it to the arch to train it, but I know the neighbors are jealous. Everyone knows about the hot and humid days in Memphis, Tn, but this rose is a fighter and a winner. The cold didn’t hurt it last year and the summer heat and humidity seems to make it stronger. No bug issues. Very little powdery mildew. I’m not a green thumb by any means. I’ve only cut the brown steams off. Simple and easy enough for me!
North Jersey planting. This rose, just like the other roses from Heirlooms roses (I got Magician last year and 2 gorgeous, unusually colored cinco de Mayo, and Hot cocoa this year), did not disappoint. Beautiful, vigorous plants already produced several cherry colored spectacular flowers. Love this company. My rose garden is fabulous.
