Chihuly Rose Settled in Wonderfully

I bought Chihuly for Fall planting. I planted it the day after it arrived and it had leaves on it 2 days later. It has been a few weeks in the ground and it looks wonderful with leaves a dark green and it has an opening bud on it. It is starting out a yellow orange with striations on the petals. I can't wait to see how it ages! Very pleased so far!

Gorgeous pinks and orange

Bought a tiny specimen from a local heirloom breeder. Reached about 2.5 feet in its first year with bloom after bloom. Buds start orange then blossoms are pink, yellow, orange and fade to a lovely peach. A star in the garden, can’t wait for it to grow. My neighbor has one as well- large with plentiful blooms here in zone 8

Several great orders

I have ordered several roses and all are doing great. I just received this order and am a little worried that the shipping was too much for it as the weather has been so hot. The stems are pretty brown, but time will tell if it will thrive like all the others. I will update with time. I will definitely be ordering more next year though before the weather gets so hot!

Amazed.

I have this planted by my bedroom deck and is a delight to see it's buds opening to beautiful, colorful petals that form large beautiful, breathtaking roses.. One of my favorite Heirloom roses!
