Bloomer

I am in 6b and I bought countryman for its continuous bloom, fragrance and winter hardiness. I grew it in a huge pot with portrait (a sweetly fragrant rose )so it will look like a bouquet . I gave it a 4 for the absence of scent.

Should be named "Show Off"

My very first rose! Planted her in August of this year in a container. She has lovely colored leaves and has had 5 beautiful blooms with another to go. Seems to love our High Country, NC climate. If she keeps going like she has, she will put my other newly planted roses to shame...a real show off!

pretty pink

The color of my two year old Countryman rose is a deep pink, not like the picture. It is a lovely color, but not what I was expecting. The leaves are a deep green, and leathery, just as the description, which is a nice backdrop to the pink blooms. It is hardy in my garden, even with winter wind, and the dry climate of the Front Range of Colorado.
