Way More Than Expected!

I received Desiree in June 2022 in Oceanside, CA. She put out several blooms in the small to medium range as she grew last year, but nothing prepared me for the flowers I am seeing now. This plant is bursting with buds and they are opening up to six inches across. I feel so lucky that I chose her. And the blooms last quite a while on the bush.

Desire'e

I received this rose at the beginning of Aug. So far it has leafed out but hasn't bloomed yet. Because it was late in the season I'm hoping by next spring she will thrive. Bought because of the name of course, I couldn't resist. I purchased with "Cassie" rose as well because that is my sister's name so now I have one of each for me & her. Will update with more info at a later time.

Gorgeous

I live in zone 7b and after a cold spring these roses are going crazy in late May. I planted this rose last spring and I thought that the rose was amazing for it's first year. Now that it's my second year with this rose, I can say that it's a true show stopper . This is a vigorous plant that did well with the neglect I showed it this fall and winter. There are so many blooms and the smell is to die for!

My best rose

I'm in zone 7B. My Desirée is planted in a raised bed on an east wall that gets more shade than is ideal for roses, but this rose just blooms and blooms and is gorgeous. The foliage is dark green and strong, seems resistant to insects, black spot and mildew — without any chemicals. I keep it watered with a soaker hose but I'm not really good about fertilizing. The fragrance is sweet and strong. I'm getting two more for a sunnier area. Thanks you for the “back in stock” alert.
