I'm not a fan of red roses but decided to take a chance on this one. It arrived as a bare cane plant but in about a month it not only produced leaves but a flush of 5 gorgeous true red roses. And it's already budding for its second flush despite the summer heat here in the Dallas TX area. I'm more than pleased with it. This is one of the most beautiful and healthy rose in my garden.
I live in zone 5b in the Pacific Northwest, I have yet to have to spray this rose. The first bloom took a while but the bush gave me blooms of six the first go. This rose is a perfect red it's not a dark or orange but a true red! The blooms lasted forever (I haven't seen how this one handles being cut but will update). I love red roses and this one is by far one of my best performers thus far.
