Easy on the Eyes truly fits every definition of the phrase. Decades of hybridizing to enlarge the magenta purple eye have resulted in an extremely novel color combo with a lavender-pink flower coloration. Easy on the Eyes takes the prize when she is described as floriferous. There are so many flowers held in large clusters on this round plant that you can barely see the dark green and glossy foliage. Expect her to stay healthy during the entire growing season and emit a moderate, citrus-like fragrance.

Happy in zone 9 South Texas

I usually enjoy small flowers, but there are so many per cluster and the “eyes” are so charming. Healthy foliage!

Spectacular rose with amazing shapes and colors

I got this rose last fall from Heirloom and it has grown fantastically and blooms up a storm. It’s a very unusual rose with clusters of oddly shaped blossoms that come in at a pink/mauve color but fade to a lavender/purple color. Great for cutting too! It is doing well in my Massachusetts garden.

Interesting Rose

I bought 4 of these shrub roses. Planted them all the same as far as I can tell. Two bloomed the first year, although thinly. This year so far the new growth is looking very full and robust. The other two threw out a couple of blooms and scraggly foliage. So far they are barely coming back this year. Go Figure.

Great shrub, doing so well!

I am new to roses, and this was my first purchase in June. I planted it on my birthday, and within three weeks, blooms! Now, almost two months after planting, it's putting out beautiful new growth all over the place, including four basal breaks. Just doing fabulously and I can't wait to see how it matures in my zone 8b garden. I'll admit, I was so pleased with this one, I immediately bought several others from Heirloom and now I'm hooked! This is my gateway rose!
