Revising previous review

I first gave this rose only 4 stars because it isn't a spectacular cut flower to stand alone in a vase. But after thinking a little more, I realized not every rose has the same purpose. The constant flowers and beautiful color of Ellen Poulsen should earn it a 5!

Dependable color

I have this rose in my zone 5 garden, and while the individual flower is not my style for a cut flower, the blooms are a lovely pink. It is one of the first roses to bloom every spring, and this last year kept blooming into the first of November. I am very please with Ellen Poulsen as dependable color throughout the growing season.
