  • Other Details
  • Fire Meidiland® produces large clusters of deep, velvety red, 2 ½”, double blooms with 30+ petals. She is a force in the garden, creating blossoms in great abundance on a continually blooming, low-growing, and extremely disease-resistant plant.  Allow the spent blooms to stay on the plant to see a beautiful rose hip display in the fall. Fire Meidiland® is a great option for mass plantings.

Tough girl!

I have three Fire Meidilands on a slope. They are beautiful and frequent bloomers. A tree cutting crew stomped on them (literally, in boots), but they came back in just a couple of months. Total respect for this strong beauty!

Beautiful plant - growing and blooming vigorously in the first season

Purchase was a last minute decision to fill in some slow growing ground cover areas in full sun. What a happy accident - the lovely small blooms are perfect and the plant is growing amazingly quickly.

Exceeds performance expectations!

I planted four of these beauties on a large dry slope, under a large spruce tree, in unamended loose soil. They have covered the slope and produce an abundance of cherry-red roses in a main spring flush with recurring blooms throughout our dry summer and wet fall. One plant was brutalized by construction workers and has completely renewed itself. Does not disappoint!

Beautiful rose. Love it in a row for a stunning display or in a cluster to make an impact.
