My Favorite Rose

Firefighter is big on vitality, scent and blooms. It's color is beautiful and the scent is heavenly. Wish I could describe it, but, if scent is important to you this rose is a must have. The blooms are gorgeous with a wonderful shade of red and they last well in a vase. When I have them in the house the scent waifs as you walk near them. I forgot to mention it's healthy. A touch of black spot now and then, but, it doesn't harm the plant.

Was my first rose as a gift as it is my profession. Lives up to the description and I’ve had it for a couple of years. Consistent big blooms as long as it isn’t stressed by other means (rose slugs were an issue and I had a watering issue during hot months, my fault). Gorgeous rose!

Amazing scent!

I received Firefighter in late June, and by early August it had put out two large blooms despite our crazy weather (zone 6B). To say that the scent is incredible is an understatement! I could smell these two blooms from about three feet away! Overall, Firefighter seems to be disease resistant and fast growing. I do believe that I’ll have to order a couple more.

Huge rose bush that will fill your vases with fragrant flowers

I have one in the front yard that grew quickly to at east 6ft tall and 3 or 4 ft around. Not diseases, not fussy just produces tomes of flowers, even after you bring a lot in. I was so happy with this rose that I bought another one in the fall. It grew to 3 ft right away. I trimmed it down in the winter, and now it is back to 3 ft. I also had at least 6 flowers that grew on it before I trimmed it. I am waiting for it to just take off. The smell of the roses are amazing also, as well as their color and the way they hold up in the vase, long after the other roses fade and fall apart. Well worth buying if you have the room.

Wow

I purchased one for the front/side of the house 9Have too many roses), and it is at least 6ft tall and 3 feet wide. This rose is loaded with roses that smell fabulous and last a while when cut. I had to get another one for the back yard. It was maybe a foot tall when it arrived but looked very healthy. Now a few month later it is 4ft to 4 1/2 feet tall and looks healthy. Already had several roses on it. Beautiful rose to have, if you have the space. Tones of cut roses for your vases all year long because it continues to produce flowers.
