Bred by one of the world’s top rose breeders, William Warriner, in 1972, this rose predates our nursery and is still going strong due to its unmatched color and sweet rose fragrance. She’s what we call “An Oldie but a Goodie!” Heirloom produces semi-double, 4-5" blooms with a petal count of 35. She has deep lilac-purple flowers on a vigorous, repeat blooming, upright plant. She is an excellent Hybrid Tea for zones 7-10 and a customer favorite.

THE COLOR! Nothing compares!

I have every color rose....or so I thought! Until I added this beauty! Exactly 9 weeks after planting in Zone 9 I have two gorgeous blooms in a ridiculously cool color I've never seen before in a rose. I don't know how to describe it, it is something like electric purple or mysterious magenta, it's just breathtaking and different than every other rose in my garden (trust me, I have a ton, and they're all from Heriloom!). I am so happy that I had a site right in front of my house for this very special rose. And, since all of my roses are from Heirloom, it's super cool having a namesake right near the front door. You're going to LOVE this one.

So glad I got it

I bought this rose in June 2023 and had a few blooms in July already. Now in late August I am having five buds blooming soon. Sure I will have another wave of flowers in autumn. The color and fragrance are gorgeous. My plant got blackspot and lost most leaves. But it soon recovered and kept growing and budding. I love it!

intoxicating sweetness

The most beautiful scent from a rose that I have ever owned. It also gradually change color during blooming. I once had 2 flowers on the same branch. They opened 7 days apart but look very different color (both very beautiful)
