- About Ice King
Ice King is a double Daffodil with a very full, ruffled center instead of the usual daffodil cup shape. An excellent naturalizer, Ice King will spread throughout your garden year after year. We love his crimped central petals. This fragrant Daffodil makes an excellent cut flower and will reach 18” tall. It is deer resistant and easy to grow for zones 3-9.
Ice King is sold in packs of 10 for fall planting.
Planting Instructions:
-
Choose an area with partial to full sun that has good drainage.
-
Dig a hole 6-8" deep and mix granular fertilizer with soil at the bottom of the hole. Daffodil bulbs should be planted 6” below the soil line.
-
Place bulbs 2-3" apart with points facing upward, and then gently pack the soil over the bulb.
-
Water once and then not again till spring.
