I have grown Jilly Jewel for about 5 years now, and am thoroughly impressed by this miniature. She is one of the most prolific, consistent bloomers in my collection of 80+ container roses, going strong from May through November here in Albuquerque New Mexico, Zone 7A. The blooms start out classic hybrid tea form, and go through stages of pink/white coloration and form that are always sweet and pretty. I do not spray, and this rose stays healthy and disease free (although black spot is not a problem here). This rose is bred by the late Frank Benardella, one of the great miniature rose breeders of all time. A great mini for a beginner, or for an experienced rose grower looking to add a reliable, hardworking rose to the garden. Jilly is a jewel for sure!
