Looked all over for this beauty and finally spotted her at the back of my local nursery. She was a bit sad but fixed up nicely. Beautiful apricot orange. First year with sparse but large and very fragrant blooms. Paired with a lavender veranda in my apricot and lavender garden. She steals the show.

Just Joey is Simply Sensational

Gorgeous large ruffled full blooms and fabulously fragrant! Two blooms within the first month of planting, and a third bloom soon to come the next month. So glad i snagged this beauty when they became available, As beautiful as my other roses are, including koko loco, Just Joey has been steal the show with their form and fragrance! Unexpected bonus is when cut it lasted 3+ days in my vase!

Pleasantly surprised

It took 8 days from date of shipment to date of delivery; so I expected very little from the drooping planting present when I opened the box. However, less than one month in ground and the transformation is remarkable. There are new shoots everywhere filling out the once ugly duckling. I recommend following Heirloom’s steps in care and in the value of their products.

I received my Just Joey rose in the mail a month ago and planted it the next day. One month later, after following the planting instructions and keeping the plant watered and in a nice sunny location with other roses, it still looks frail and has seemed to stop growing. It has some leaves, but no forming buds or even bud prospects, and I am wondering if it will even produce a flower this year. It is disappointing because I had one of these roses for several years, and until one severe winter caused it to die, I just loved this rose. It's fragrance was just heavenly, and that large apricot flower was just gorgeous.

So handsome!

Huge peachy fragrant blooms. Exactly what I want. My Joey has stayed small, only 3 feet max. I have had just a handful of flowers, but each one is so beautiful, as long as you aren't a stickler for form. I am hoping he'll be better with age. And, yes, he has had some blackspot.
