Note: Peonies start to ship in November based on availability and your zone, unlike other products. Plant around or after your first frost but before the ground freezes. One of the most popular red Peonies that has been around since 1908, Karl Rosenfield produces 6-7” blooms of bright, crimson red in double form. While he doesn’t have much scent, this Peony more than makes up for it with strong stems and gorgeous flowers with notched petals. Karl Rosenfield will grow to 36” and does best in full sun for zones 3-8. He can be grown in beds, borders or pots.
Please note that Peonies may take several growing seasons to get established before they reward you with armloads of beautiful blooms.
Karl Rosenfield is sold as one root with 3-5 eyes.
