I got this rose about a month ago and she developed buds before she leafed out. I've got her planted in my front yard and she's put out three stunning peachy-colored blooms. I know enough now about how roses tend to grow into their eventual permanent colors after their second year or so, and I imagine she won't stay this color. She didn't have a speck of pink in her blossoms, just that lovely peach/salmon shade and she has such a lovely form. heavy with petals. Her scent is heavenly in the mornings. A winner, for sure, whatever color she eventually settles on.
This rose glows a lovely pale amber/pink color from the center in the early stages of opening. It's absolutely beautiful, and the fragrance is lovely. A great addition to any rose collection.
Got my first bloom of this rose even before I planted her in the ground. The scent was very strong and lovely! The bud was cream and opened up to light apricot in my super sunny front yard. I love her scent, color, and form.
I can't believe that no one has mentioned the fragrance of this rose in their reviews. Is is worth mentioning. I also love how you can sink your face into the huge, amazing smelling blooms! A "must have" rose bush it truly has it all: beautiful leaves and buds, is great as a cutting flower, very disease resistant, and did I mention that it has amazing fragrance?!!
