Happy Gardener

The "Lasting Love" was a gift for someone in Idaho. I've been told it arrived in beautiful condition and was just planted.

Perfection

This rose is everything Heirloom says it is and more. My zone, 9 coastal, Oregon is really tough on roses but this pretty, Lasting Love, takes the weather in stride. The perfume this rose exudes is magnificent. And as a cut flower, it excels. Anyone growing this beauty will be delightfully happy they did. This one is up there with the best of them. Put it on order, as it's a keeper.

everything is quite good, except color isn't attractive

This is a vigorous and healthy grandiflora rose bush. The foliage has a very pretty high gloss sheen. It is very free blooming in spring. I'm in the SF Bay Area.
It's totally trouble free. It sends out shoots freely from the bud union. The flowers are big and has nice form. Everything is good so far, but alas, the flower color is just not quite attractive and doesn't comport with a rose named "Lasting Love." One would expect a rose with such a name to be blood red (or at least close), but Lasting Love has a pronounced neon pinkish hue to it that is just not quite attractive especially as the flower fully opens. It has absolutely no hint of any blood red color.
