This was my first year with Lava Flow and I will be buying more. It has the most cheerful red blooms in clusters. It exploded in blooms 3-4 times this first year. I counted over 70 at a time. And then it will intermittently put out a modest show in between. Blooms were 1 1/2-2 inches, with charming ruffles and depth of color.
This little beauty has been in the ground about five months and has been covered in blooms 3 times now. I counted over 55 blooms recently. They are darling about 1.5 inches and bloom in sprays, whith a very pretty shape and deep red. The plant is on the smaller side, but has had good growth. I had some powdery mildew early in spring. I am extra careful with watering the base. plan to add a couple more of these cheerful beauties. My favorite new addition.
I'm in love with this rose. The color is the most amazing shade of red and she is a beautiful shape. Although she isn't a huge rose she is still mesmerizingly beautiful. One of my favorites.
I live in Albuquerque, NM and our summers are hot and dry. This rose has thrived in my garden from day one. It produces the deepest most beautiful clusters of blooms that last as long time. Sadly no fragrance but its color and how long I get to enjoy the blooms makes up for it. It’s a more compact bush and gets about 5 hours of direct sun (10:00-3:00).
