I planted two of these in January 2024 and today they are producing very very large blooms (even after repeated pruning by the local deer). The blooms are lasting over a week during this temperate weather, in contrast to the short lived blooms of the David Austen planted next to Lover’s blush. Very impressed, these definitely deliver
I wanted to leave an updated review with photos as the review I left in in Nov of 2023, we did not have the option to share photos! Also, because I have just fallen even more in love with this rose if that's even possible. I now have over 130 roses in my garden (yes, that escalated quickly, lol) and she is still my number one girl. Lover's Blush is now in her second year, still very healthy and a blooming machine. Her bloom color and form range is very much dependent on the temperature but she has not stopped impressing me. Very sturdy, upright growth. She is now about 4.5 ft high with some canes that are acting like they want to climb. I still have her in a large pot that happens to be near an arbor and her cane just naturally is rested against it with another rose so I just allowed her to stay there. This is a hidden gem of a rose and I promise that you 100% need her. You will not regret it. Please buy her, it truly makes me sad that this rose does not get the attention and love that she deserves! She is so worthy of a spot in your garden :)
I’m loving this rose! Cupped to perfection, smells divine and great for cutting!
