As you would expect, Lover’s Bush has romantic rose-pink buds that unfurl to cupped, warm pink, 4" blooms with an outstanding 50+ petals and a pale amber center. The summer sun brings out a blush of deeper pink, while her flowers retain a cooler note in the spring and fall. Expect the fragrant blooms to appear singly and in clusters on stems held above the mid-green foliage on an upright shrub.

Beautiful, underrated rose. You need her!!

I started my rose journey in May of 2023. Lover's Blush was in the 2nd order I ever placed with HR. I chose her because Heirloom didn't have much info on her nor could I find much of anything about her online or in any of the active rose fb groups. I planted her in a large pot in June 2023, it is now November 6th, 2023 and she has become my favorite rose. In a short time, I have come to own 50 roses, have many more coming in Spring. She bloomed right away and she bloomed white. I thought I had a mislabeled rose. Took a few blooms to get her color right but oh my god. She is absolutely gorgeous, and she LOVES to flower! Repeats quickly! She is fragrant. Also I want to note, for being a small own root baby, she has very impressive blooms! They start out globular and round and open to the perfect cupped shape. A bright, feminine and delicate pink with a bright amber center that reveals beautiful stamens, the pollinators love her! I've added my personal photos of her on helpmefind and I gladly share and recommend her to all rose friends! I hope that she will get the attention that she really deserves!! South Texas, 9b. Extremely hot, brutal, humid summers and usually mild winters. She bloomed all summer long. Buy her, you won't regret it!

Something Special

I accidentally ordered 2 of these, and I’m so glad I did. The pictures don’t do it justice, this rose seems to glow from within. Eye catching even at a distance, the blooms are HUGE and luminous, even in a drought. I’ve had neighbors stop to admire them. There is not much fragrance, but I can’t even fault her for that, she is so beautiful. If you’re on the fence, order this rose!

Dainty Watercolor

I've had 3 unexpected blooms this winter and they look like a watercolor painting! The colors are soft during my winter as described. I can't wait to see its colors during summer!

I am in love.

I don't know why there is only one photo of Lover's Blush, but what a beauty! At six weeks, she produced one huge bloom exactly like the photo and it lasted for a week. I am completely smitten and am thrilled that I chose her.

Not As Pictured

I bought this rose over a year ago, made the mistake of planting it in sandy loam and leaving it. Naturally it didnt do well, but as soon as I moved it to clay it took off. It’s not a fragrant rose, at all, which was probably the biggest disappointment, but the flower was dainty and pretty. The color and size reminded me exactly of my Abraham Darby. Hoping they’ll be bigger blooms in the years to come. -zone 9
