  • About Mary Delany®
  • Other Details
  • Something quite new and different. A tall shrub with rather small dark green leaves. The flowers have a shallow cupped shape and are soft pink paling to the outer petals. As the flower opens it gradually exposes its stamens to add further to its beauty. The whole impression is one of delicacy and grace all produced on a nearly thorn-less bush.

so very beautiful

I am not the best gardener, I am not the best with roses, but I have been growing this for over eight years and it is always beautiful in my garden. In fact, I just saw a great way of presenting roses and am returning for more. The flowers look and smell both delicate and lovely. They are truly thornless, and never of concern when my children were active toddlers. The are perpetually blooming, and as long as there is enough sun, seem to grow very well. My father and grandparents grow the most beautiful roses, this lets me feel like I'm part of the family. Cannot recommend enough.

A Beautiful Rose Best Grown in Cooler Weather

I love this rose. The buds and flowers are really beautiful. No black spot. But in the heat in Los Altos CA the flowers crisp up and dry out. I have one planted in part shade and one in full sun. The shade location flowers very well. The full sun gets the crispy roses. The sprays of this rose look fabulous in bouquets. Worth growing.
