Named for the mother of our own head gardener here at Heirloom Roses, Matchless Mother is a fantastic rose with lush, ruffled coral- pink to orange flowers. Her flowers average 4" with 50+ petals. This moderately fragrant rose will liven up the garden with color and allure. We love her as a gift for or reminder of your own mother in zones 5-10.

Beautiful rose

I wish we could post photos to the review!
Phoenix AZ - planted this rose in November ‘23. The rose has produced 2 blooms already and the first one starting this spring. Can’t wait for it to grow more. Curious how it will survive upcoming Phoenix heat.

Healthy beautiful Rose Bush

I was thrilled with how healthy and heavy foliaged my rose bush was upon arrival.I love that the roses are potted and not bare root. Within a week it was ready to bloom! I will purchase roses from Heirloom Roses again!

Matchless mother is amazing!

About five weeks out from receiving my roses, Matchless Mother has outdone herself! She had two leaves when delivered, and today she has numerous blooms and is leafing out nicely. And no black spot or mold or disease if any kind! Which is certainly different from other rises I’ve bought elsewhere. I won’t buy rides anywhere else now. I’m going to do a whole rose garden at my soon to be built house using heirloom roses! But these roses you won’t regret it. Worth the money.

Stunning coral/salmon rose

This bush was already leafing out when I took it out of the box and within a couple of days, it grew nine buds. I hated planting it in such scorching weather (we'd been in the century mark/upper 90s almost all month), but I went ahead. Then, my neighbor's big, galompy Lab-mix got loose and trampled my rose bush as I was finishing up. It broke off half the bush. I was upset and stuck the broken half in the wet ground next to it, regardless. The part that had stayed buried grew beautifully and bloomed the most gorgeous coral/salmon orange roses I've ever seen. They were stunning and non-fading in this horrible heat, although the scent was rather light, which is a feature with many of my newer roses. They usually get stronger scents and more vibrant color after their first or second year. The other bush lost all its leaves and buds, but I'll be darned if it hasn't rooted and is starting to leaf out again. Now, I have two and how it rooted in this frightful heat, I'll never figure out. This Matchless Mother is extremely tough, as well as incredibly beautiful here in the Southern Texas Gulf Coast.
