Palmyra

Palmyra is an early-blooming tulip perfect for zones 3-8. She tops out around 16-18” in beautiful double form. Named for an ancient Roman city, her most unique feature is her purple-black petals that have an almost velvet appearance.

Palmyra is sold in packs of 10 for fall planting.

Fall Planting Instructions: 

  1. Choose an area with partial to full sun that has good drainage.

  2. Dig a hole 6-8” deep and mix granular fertilizer with soil at the bottom of the hole. Tulip bulbs should be planted 6” below the soil.

  3. Place bulbs 2-3” apart with points facing upward, and then gently pack the soil over the bulb.

  4. Water once and then not again till spring.
