Pastello Striato

Boasting a delightful mix of colors, this Ranunculus creates creamy white blooms, each trimmed in a contrasting color along the edges in shades of blush, peach, buttercream, and purple. Growing 20” to 24” tall, it makes an excellent cut flower. It blooms in late spring to early summer and grows as a perennial in Zones 8–11. In Zones 4–7, corms should be lifted, dried, and replanted each spring.

Pastello Striato is sold in packs of 10.

Planting Instructions:

Plant Ranunculus in the fall for zones 8-11 for spring blooms. In zones 4-7, store the hardened corms in a cool, dark place and plant in early spring for mid-summer blooms.

  1. Soak corms in room temperature water for 3-4 hours; avoid oversoaking.

  2. Choose an area with full sun for planting.

  3. Add compost and a balanced fertilizer to your soil.

  4. Plant corms 9” apart, 2-3” deep, with tentacles facing down in the soil.

  5. Water after planting and continue weekly watering to ensure the corms do not dry out for the remainder of the growing season.
