Bought this along with a couple of other varieties and it survived this summer's record breaking heat in Phoenix.
Now that the weather has cooled slightly, we're getting some blooms on it too (beautiful color, size a little smaller than I was expecting, but that is probably just because it's still a young rose). Can't wait for next year.
Requested delayed shipping which was spot on to be sent and received in excellent packaging. Healthy. Transferred to bigger pots. Showing healthy leaves. Delay in planting in the garden due a couple of hurricanes. Sheltered in greenhouse. Will updated after planted. Thank you for a beautiful rose plant
This rose’s color captivated me the first time I saw the photos on your website. I know it’s classified as “Very Fragrant” but oh my, what a pleasant surprise! I will describe its fragrance as elegant, unique and enchanting. Paul Shirville rose is a perfect 10!!
This is our third year with Paul Shirville (from Heirloom) in Zone 7a. It produced so well we bought another 2 last year. Each is in a different part of the garden, and each has done better than the roses near it. We generally cut blooms to take in or give but we think Paul is a handsome grower even if left as a yard plant. Fragrant, nice foliage, and seems more resistant to b.s. than other roses in our humid summers. (We do spray.)
