Off to a great start!

I just planted my Perfume Factory rose in late August and now, in early October, I already have one perfect blooming rose. She smells absolutely luscious and her petals are so lovely with green tinges on the outer petals. I'm in love. Looking forward to many years of blooms.

What inspired me to start a rose garden.

I first see this beautiful, VERY FRAGRANT rose at the Hershey's garden. Loved the smell, so when I got home I looked it up everywhere that hs it listed for sale was out of stock, All but HEIRLOOM ROSES. I hesitated a bit because it was so pricey.
Long story short, I end up buying it, and it got shipped to me in July. Planted on July 16th and now it has 2 buds. Can't wait to see the bloom.

Perfume Factory

Perfume Factory has beautiful color, blooms and very intense fragrance. It is twice as wide as it is tall so make sure you have the floor space for it. While the fragrance is intense, it actually smells more like a bottle of generic mixed floral perfume then it does a fresh rose which I found intriguing but strange at the same time.
