Beautiful and forgiving

This rose is doing really well in 6a full sun (Western NYS). It is very vigorous in its growth, which I love because, as a novice, I don't stress over making a mistake in pruning. It just keeps growing and putting out new shoots and blooms. Out of all of my roses, this one is truly continuously blooming. It is in its second year and there is always at least 2 blooms on it, or 6. The color and shape of the blooms is beautiful and they are large too.

Stunningly beautiful red rose!

I live in the Bay Area and my Pride of England rose has been a surprisingly wonderful performer for the past 3 years! She gives me about 40 long stemmed red red roses in one flush in the spring, and never without a bloom until early winter! The flowers also last at least one week in the vase! The plant is very clean, no black spots or mildew. An occasional rust in the spring which is easily corrected by my annual pruning. Lots and lots of complements from friends and neighbors. Only fault is she doesnt have a strong rose scent, which I really don't mind. I've been holding a review on her for years, but now that spring is coming, I'm so looking forward for another big flush, a wonderful gift from mother nature. She deserves a good review.
