Romance Nohant

Romance Nohant is a beautiful, new variety of ranunculus in a stunning coral color. It flowers early in the season and has massive, ruffled blooms. Unlike other varieties of ranunculus, Romance varieties do not have hollow stems, which allows them to support their heavy blooms firmly on strong stems. Romance Nohant is sold in packs of 10 for fall planting.

Planting Instructions:

Plant Ranunculus in the fall for zones 8-10 for spring blooms. In zones 4-7, store the hardened corms in a cool, dark place and plant in early spring for mid-summer blooms.

  1. Soak corms in room temperature water for 3-4 hours; avoid oversoaking.
  2. Choose an area with full sun for planting.
  3. Add compost and a balanced fertilizer to your soil.
  4. Plant corms 9” apart, 2-3” deep, with tentacles facing down in the soil.
  5. Water after planting and continue weekly watering to ensure the corms do not dry out for the remainder of the growing season.
