A charming rose of exquisite delicacy. The double 4 1/2" blooms (petals 50+) are shallow cupped at first and gradually reflex to form a perfect rosette. The color is the most delicate blush pink, fading to almost white on the outer petals. A short, rather upright continual blooming bush. Exquisite sweet/fruity fragrance. One of the most beautiful English Roses. Outstanding in every way.

Oh please reconsider & do grow 'Sharifa Asma' again!

'Sharifa' is such a gorgeous rose along with all the other things we rose lovers look for when filling our rose gardens. 'Sharifa' is a fast starter when planted as directed by our wonderful Heirloom staff, and one that we don't have to wait three years on ( I for one am not getting any younger!) Next her fragrance is world famous it seems and everyone loves & raves about it! Some mention wanting to bottle it & most of us just wish someone would! Oh my gosh, how wonderful to be able to wear a fragrance this fabulous. 'Sharifa' also has a graceful & lovely shrub with pretty foliage as well and unbelievably 'Sharifa's' shrubs bloom continually! Her sumptuous blooms are 4 & 1/2 inches across and contain 60 petals. The petals are a pale pink blush, just so lovely. In reading over all the reviews I can see how well loved she is and also how well 'Sharifa' performs in so many different areas of our Country. That is also a plus for all of us! When I saw the picture of 'Sharifa Asma' on this site I thought she was being grown again and would soon be available for purchase. I was beyond excited! That lasted several weeks until I opened the picture
which I'd opened several times before, but this time it said what it shows now. I was so disappointed and of course I still am. If they should ever become available again I would purchase a trio of 'Sharifa' shrubs I promise!

What a loss!

This is my favorite of all my roses - David Austin or otherwise - over many years. It is heartbreaking that you are no longer growing this stellar rose; it is becoming impossible to find. Look at all of the reviews - 5 STARS across the board! Please reconsider! You are the premier rose provider in this country and Shaifa Asma deserves to keep her place among your offerings. Thank you.

lovely flowers, tough plant

I got this several years ago. When other roses have perished from the cold (Zone 6) or other reasons, this rose has kept going, offering its beautiful, fragrant flowers in late Spring, then again in the summer, and right now in October.

Elegant rose

Thankfully I purchased two of these beauties and I couldn't be happier! The only thing that would make me happier is having ten more! Sharifa Asma is prim and proper rose, the growth habit matches the elegance and the amazing fragrance so well. It's extraordinary. Everything you read about this rose is true. It reminds me of the talking roses in Alice in Wonderland. It just feels pristine in every way.

I have it in a space with other roses but it would be perfect in front of a home on either side of the doorway or lining a walkway. It stays tidy where other roses branch and ramble. It is one of the most perfect roses and they have grown so much in the year I've had them. I cut the first flush of blooms last week and made homemade rose water. Divine!

I live just outside of New Orleans in zone 9b and have it planted where it gets Eastern exposure and sun through about midday. If you are considering multiple roses, I would highly recommend this rose. I'm not sure if another rose could beat the wonder and beauty of this rose. I would recommend this rose to anyone. The roses are so healthy and have brought me so much joy. The fragrance is exquisite.

Amazing rose

I’m in Memphis where black spot destroys most roses, but not this beauty. I’m so excited that I finally found a beautiful pink rose that smells delicious and grows here! Love the scent, a little citrus in it. And it just blooms and blooms. Planted in March, and it’s had 3 full flushes of roses already! Loved it so much I bought 2 more.
