This is my favorite rose of all time of the hundreds of roses I’ve grown. I lost my two in a move and am heartbroken you are no longer growing it. Please bring it back! The fragrance is like no other and the dark lustery foliage makes it really special. Please grow it again!
'Sharifa' is such a gorgeous rose along with all the other things we rose lovers look for when filling our rose gardens. 'Sharifa' is a fast starter when planted as directed by our wonderful Heirloom staff, and one that we don't have to wait three years on ( I for one am not getting any younger!) Next her fragrance is world famous it seems and everyone loves & raves about it! Some mention wanting to bottle it & most of us just wish someone would! Oh my gosh, how wonderful to be able to wear a fragrance this fabulous. 'Sharifa' also has a graceful & lovely shrub with pretty foliage as well and unbelievably 'Sharifa's' shrubs bloom continually! Her sumptuous blooms are 4 & 1/2 inches across and contain 60 petals. The petals are a pale pink blush, just so lovely. In reading over all the reviews I can see how well loved she is and also how well 'Sharifa' performs in so many different areas of our Country. That is also a plus for all of us! When I saw the picture of 'Sharifa Asma' on this site I thought she was being grown again and would soon be available for purchase. I was beyond excited! That lasted several weeks until I opened the picture
which I'd opened several times before, but this time it said what it shows now. I was so disappointed and of course I still am. If they should ever become available again I would purchase a trio of 'Sharifa' shrubs I promise!
This is my favorite of all my roses - David Austin or otherwise - over many years. It is heartbreaking that you are no longer growing this stellar rose; it is becoming impossible to find. Look at all of the reviews - 5 STARS across the board! Please reconsider! You are the premier rose provider in this country and Shaifa Asma deserves to keep her place among your offerings. Thank you.
I got this several years ago. When other roses have perished from the cold (Zone 6) or other reasons, this rose has kept going, offering its beautiful, fragrant flowers in late Spring, then again in the summer, and right now in October.
