  • This high-centered rose produces very large blooms of rich, velvety red with a snow white reverse - an unusual and eye-catching coloring! Snowfire is a continual blooming rose introduced by Kordes in 1970. She has a mild fragrance and will bloom repeatedly throughout the season. Her stunning color and ruffled petals receive many compliments. Plus, she does great in beds or borders! What’s not to love?

Still waiting after 3+ years.

This is one of my favorite roses. Unfortunately it eventually died having been abused by at least two landscapers who carelessly using a weedeater and mowed them down almost to ground level. It came back the first time. The second time it was a bit of a weakling and eventually died. I have been trying to replace it ever since. Heirloom keeps telling me they have it and are propagating but it's not ready yet. After three plus years still not ready? I really want to get my Snowfire rose back in the garden but I am getting impatient. This is a fabulous rose despite the killer thorns. A small price to pay for such a showstopper. Please get this back in stock!

Snowfire growth

I ordered this rose before from J&P but it eventually died. It is a very beautiful rose and last a while when cut, Very photogenic when spritzed. I got a 5" bloom out of mine. It had a moderate to no fragrance at times. When hot this rose may droop if not watered properly. Grows great an a cooler climate. I cant wait to get another one of these for my patio pot. Please add me to the waitlist for this one.
