The plant started small. The following year, it grew fast and soon became as large as a climber. It blooms repeatedly in Oregon and survived the "river of rain" in the winter.
I'm having a second flush of non-stop blooms and it's mid July. This is the second summer for this fabulous rose! It must love where its planted because its doing so well! This is THE rose for fragrance. It's how a rose should smell. Heavenly!!! I'd include a picture but my camera photographs this rose as a neon pink.
I was really skeptical but the plant arrived and after allowing it to acclimate in a shaded area, I planted it in full sun. It seems to be thriving!! Leafing out and with some extra watering (we are in a dry period-unusual for Florida in the summer) growth seems very hopeful!! I’m impressed. Can’t wait for blooms!!
East Coast 7a, experienced rosarian. Received my Souv. Linc. exactly one month ago and immediately got him re-hydrated and planted in a sheltered location with almost full sun until about 3pm; other than that, haven't fussed over him at all. One month later... he's doubled in size and I have my first bloom! Absolutely heavenly deeply complex rose fragrance, lovely form and depth of color. I'm about to hit all my roses with some Heirloom Founder's Fish Fertilizer, so I can't wait to see what Souv. Linc. delivers in the next year. Heirloom, you've earned my loyalty and then some!
